San MartÃn de Los Andes is surrounded by mountains, hills, and forests, and is a great area for mountain biking activities.
This special tour is aimed at mountain biking lovers and includes semi-technical trails through the woods, abandoned timber paths, and incredible valleys.

Unlike other places in Patagonia, the surroundings of San MartÃn de Los Andes are shared between the LanÃn National Park and the Mapuche Community, which means that they are of free access and have very few inhabitants, perfect for a mountain bike adventure.

Day 1
As a warm-up activity, we suggest cycling to Lake Escondido. The ride takes place through mountain trails that guide us to this secluded lake, located to the south of Lake Lacar.
Distance: 35/40 km
Day 2
After a good night’s sleep and a tasty breakfast, we will cycle towards the north of San MartÃn de los Andes. The ride will initially lead through trails by the Rosales Lake and will then continue to the foot of Mount Colorado. We will return to town through Mapuche territory.

Day 3
On this last day of the tour, we will cycle across the Eagle’s Valley to Mount Chapelco. We will finally cycle downhill to San MartÃn de Los Andes across Mapuche territory.
